Infrastructure Construction
Since its establishment in 1997, FET has continued to introduce new products and services utilizing access technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G and Wifi. As the popularity of smart devices grows rapidly, FET is investing heavily in the improvement of internet infrastructure, actively enhancing the speed and quality of mobile networks, upgrading base stations, and expanding the channel range.
2016 marks FET's official launched   4.5G mobile internet service as the first telecom operator in Asia to offer triple bandwidth of 700 / 1800 / 2600 MHz. FET's next step is to launch another bandwidth and set a new record in mobile internet speed.Gearing up for the next mobile era , FET has worked with the telecom-equipment giant Ericsson to establish the first 5G Lab in Taiwan.We will also continue to develop IoT applications and polish our mobile services to become the preferred partner in the digital life and pave a solid path forward to the future of 5G roll-out.
Companies such as New Century InfoComm Tech, Arcoa, Data Express, and Qware Systems were established by FET in order to further connect the upper and lower streams of the ICT industry. FET also signed a “Business Co-operation Framework Agreement” with China Mobile, the world’s largest telecom operator. FET is a member of Conexus Mobile Alliance, and partners with major international telecom company Vodafone,  crossing the barriers between different continents and closing the distance between people.
Sustainable Growth Driven by the "4G" Principles
In FET's 2015 Integrated Report, which is the first of its kind in Taiwan, we identified "4G" as our sustainability principles: Go Prosperous, Go Innovative, Go Caring, and Go Inclusive. It is our hope that these four principles will stimulate our innovative services and applications and drive financial growth. It is our goal to benefit all stakeholders and facilitate social integration through the practice of these four principles. We are determined to achieve FET's Vision: FET Connects and Enriches Life.
Customer First  Pursuit of No.1
In concordance with its 360 degree store service initiative, FET has also introduced services such as ten-point satisfaction and ten-point commitment, pre-ordered services, home pick-up and repairing services for platinum members and automatic payment kiosks at stores, Red Box, appraising the value of and buying back old phones, continuing to improve customer satisfaction levels. FET strives hard to make customers give a smile of satisfaction and its efforts have won wide approbation: in 2013 FET was not just top in two network speed testing by the NCC, it was also named champion in the telecommunications industry category in the Industrial and Commercials Times, Next magazine and Commonwealth magazine’s service awards.
FET launched "FET Self-Care App" to cater to the digital lifestyle of the mobile generation. This one-stop service gives customers access to a wide variety of services and have won huge acclaims. It has also been awarded Silver in the category of "Best Omni-channel Experience" and Bronze in the category of "Best Customer Communication" in Business Next Magazine's "2016 Future Commerce Award".
 "friDay" our digital brand
In 2014, FET launched a digital brand "friDay", under which "friDay Video", "friDay Shopping", "friDay Music", "friDay Reading",  "friDay PLAY",and"friDay Wallet " services were offered to customers to enrich their digital lifestyle. friDay successfully integrates multiple mobile applications to fulfill consumers' needs in different areas of life. With the help of content curation marketing and big-data analysis, friDay is able to produce individualized experiences and services. FET continually innovates products and services and, in the future, aims to allow the consumer to enjoy a convenient life anytime, anywhere as long as they have their phone in their hand.
Enterprise Cloud Services
FET continues to improve its Internet infrastructure, strengthen vertical integration of the ICT industry, and utilize big data analysis to customize more flexible, more comprehensive and secure enterprise cloud services for the business community. Looking forward, FET is committed to using Taiwan as a hub and continuing to expand business in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, America, as well as New Zealand and Australia, with the goal of improving the quality of telecommunications services and the services of communication platforms. We will continue to make big strides towards developing applications for smart living, smart business and smart city.
Corporate Governance Clearly Visible to All in Taiwan and Overseas
FET understands that maintaining a transparent and close communication channel and realizing corporate governance are the only ways to ensure business success. The high level of information disclosure in FET has earned recognition numerous times and accolades from the market, investors, and professional organizations home and abroad.
FET also receives much recognition from reputable financial media around the world, including Financial Asia, Corporate Governance Asia, The Asset, and the Institutional Investor Award. FET was listed as an index component in Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index. FET received the highest ranking A++ in Listed Companies Evaluation, and was ranked top 5% in Corporate Governance Evaluation conducted by TWSE (Taiwan Stock Exchange) for the third consecutive years.
Paying Back Society
FET has long been working on child and juvenile related issues. Since 2006, FET has been collaborating with the Child Welfare League Foundation in sponsoring adopted and abandoned children. FET also puts its communication expertise into good use and takes on its social responsibilities after major disasters by initiating donation campaigns, relocating and reconstructing schools, and establishing disaster relief platforms to assist disaster-struck victims and children.
The FET Corporate Social Responsibility Committee was established in 2011. It follows the double concept “eco-fashion, creative responsibility” and combines core expertise in communication with innovative thinking. In 2016, FET, Forestry Bureau of Council of Agriculture, the Executive Yuan, Taiwan Environmental Information Association, National Taiwan Museum, and Homemakers Union launched the second “Cherish the Earth, Spread Love Far” campaign. With the ecological documentary and call for animation creation, we invited every Taiwanese to join us to savor the ecological beauty of Taiwan.
2013, FET began the ‘Express your love. Let it be heard’ brand event campaign; and as a follow-up, together with The John Tung Foundation, we advocate the notion of environmental protection of the mind and hope to begin emotion education from an early age in schools and campuses. This campaign has brought us to over 47 schools in Taiwan and recorded over ten thousand participants.  
FET is a well-known leader in corporate social responsibility. In Global View Magazine's "Corporate Social Responsibility Competition", FET received an award in the category of "Healthy Workplace" in 2013 and in the category of "Environmental Protection" in 2014. In Common Wealth Magazine's " Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility", FET was awarded "Best Improvement" in the category of large enterprises in 2014. In 2015, FET was selected as one of the "Top Ten Most Sustainable Enterprise" in the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards. In 2016, Finance Asia gave FET "Best CSR" award. All these commendation are concrete examples of FET's determination and fruitful results in being a responsible corporate member of the society.
